Apply for Charitable Contributions

At Superior Ag, building strong communities where we live, work and serve is important to all of us. Complete this charitable contribution application to apply for appropriation to help meet your community's local needs and goals. Our charitable contribution efforts are focused on work that enhances the viability of family farm agriculture; therefore, preference is given to organizations that provide the greatest impact on the fabric of our communities.

Keep in mind, we're a farmer owned cooperative, owned and controlled by over 3,100 local farmers. Our cooperative returns profits to our member-customers by sharing earnings based on the amount of business they do. The generosity of the member-customers who own Superior Ag and their interest in supporting communities in which they live and where they do business, allows them to offer charitable contributions.

We support local and regional organizations that focus on:
Safety: Promoting emergency preparedness response, accident prevention, or safety education and training.

Agriculture Education & Leadership: Supporting early childhood or adult development skills in an effort to build the agriculture community capacity, develop the next generation of leaders and/or provide a skill workforce for the agriculture industry.

Conservation: Helping conserve our most precious natural resources: water, land and biodiversity. A part of this initiative would be to support the education of sustainability to youth and adults.

Community: Supporting community, cultural events, local support services, civic enhancements, youth recreation and/or leadership programs.

Whether it's partnering with community groups or supporting local causes, our goal is to help build strong and vibrant communities. Our Community Initiative program provides valuable tools and resources to first responders, helps fund educational programs, supports important community needs, and strengthens environmental stewardship and sustainability through local investments.

Our applicant pool is extremely competitive. Each year we find ourselves in a difficult position of having more qualified applicants than available funding. The most competitive proposals are the ones that clearly demonstrate how their work positively impacts family farmers through approaches that emphasize on our 4 main initiatives: Safety, Agriculture Education & Leadership, Conservation and Community within the areas where our member-customers cultivate a living.

Upon submission of your charitable contribution application, you will receive an email from Superior Ag indicating that your application has been received. Please check your junk folder if you do not receive the e-mail after you have completed the application.

To ensure proper consideration, we require four (4) to six (6) weeks to review an application and respond to the applicant.

All information collected will be used to assess your application and will be kept strictly confidential.
