Farmer’s 12 Days Of Christmas

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. As Christmas draws near, it’s important to reminisce and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. So, amid the presents, cookie decorating, and Christmas parties – remember the reason for the season!

Here’s to the farm chores done on Christmas day – cows milked, eggs picked up, pigs fed, and stalls mucked. So in honor of Christmas, I bring to you a farmer’s rendition of “The Twelve Days of Christmas”:

On the twelfth day of Christmas my farmer gave to me…

1 dozen eggs
11 sacks of feed
10 piglets squealing
9 bales of hay
8 calves-a-bawling
7 sheep-a-grazing

6 goats-a-maa-ing
5 pens to muck
4 brand new tires
3 milkers milking
2 muddy boots
…And tractor that’s frozen like an ice cube!
