There are a lot of different row starter products on the market. Some questions you need to ask yourself are: How am I set up? Am I doing in furrow? Am I doing 2×2? What is my application method?

Every company has product to sell, but do you ever ask yourself about product placement?

Row starter is different from one grower to the next. To some people it means 2×2, others it means in furrow. There are many different products you can use in furrow: Zinc, PGR’s, fungicides, and insecticides that can be carried by your 10-34-0 and low salt starters. When using a 2×2 row starter, there are several other options: UAN, 10-34-0, Boron, additional Zinc, and ammonium thiosulphate (ATS).

This time of year growers are always asking themselves, what can they do to improve their yield – but at the same time how can they increase their ROI.

Ensure you are using seed safe products, at seed safe rates, please consult your local agronomist for safe in furrow application recommendations.
