The team at Superior Ag is very grateful to Craig Haugaard for his three years of service and leadership within the Grain Division. His wealth of knowledge, vast experience, dedication to customers, and commitment to the cooperative have helped shape the division and establish a strong foundation for its future. Jeff Hagan recently joined the cooperative on August 31 and is working alongside PJ Peter as part of the division’s leadership transition ahead of Peter’s future retirement. Hagan brings more than 30 years of agronomy, operations and leadership experience. Most recently, he served as General Manager at Waters Agricultural Laboratories, where he led the laboratory, agronomy and customer service operations supporting agricultural clients across multiple states. Throughout his career, Hagan has focused on delivering data-driven agronomic solutions, improving operational efficiency, developing teams and helping customers improve productivity and profitability. In his new role, Hagan will work closely with Superior Ag leadership, employees and customers to strengthen the Agronomy Division, support dependable service and identify opportunities for continued growth.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to become part of the Superior Ag team and look forward to contributing my experience, work ethic and commitment to serving growers,” Hagan said. “Successful agronomy leadership starts with listening, understanding the needs of customers and employees, and helping people make sound decisions that improve productivity, profitability and long-term stewardship of the land.”
For nearly two decades, PJ Peter has served Superior Ag with unwavering dedication, sharing his invaluable guidance, deep knowledge and genuine commitment with the cooperative and the farmers we serve. We are deeply grateful for the relationships he has built, the leadership he has provided and the lasting impact of his 18 years of service. Peter will continue serving Superior Ag throughout the transition, helping ensure continuity and generously sharing the experience and insight he has gained over the course of his career. As his retirement approaches, Superior Ag looks forward to honoring Peter and celebrating the many contributions he has made to our cooperative.
These leadership transitions reflect Superior Ag’s commitment to honoring the experience and contributions of those who have helped shape the cooperative while thoughtfully preparing for the future.
